Description
Tak D tablet is used for gastric ulcers, benign duodenal ulcers, inflammation of the oesophagus, acid peptic disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and other gastric acid-related conditions. Tak D tablet
s are part of a class of Antacids, Antireflux Agents & Antiulcerants. Secretion of high amounts of acid in the stomach can cause gastric acid-related disorders. The two salts that form the composition of Tak D are; Dicyclomine and Ranitidine. Dicyclomine belongs to a class of drugs called antispasmodics, which helps with cramps, and Ranitidine is an antacid, which reduces the acid in the stomach. The medication is only to be taken after medical advice.

- If you are a breastfeeding mother.
- If you have Glaucoma.
- If you have hypersensitivity to the ingredients of this medication.
- If you have severe ulcerative Colitis.
- If the patient is an infant of less than six months.
- If you have Myasthenia Gravis.
- If you have the obstructive disease of the gastrointestinal tract.
- If you have Porphyria.
- If you have obstructive uropathy.

- You are living in a high-temperature region. It is known that Dicyclomine reduces the body’s ability to cool off by sweating. In very high temperatures, Dicyclomine can cause fever and heat stroke.
- You are taking any of the above-mentioned drugs. This is to avoid drug interactions. Drug interactions may change, depending on how your medications work.
- You are pregnant or want to coneive.

How Does It Work?
Directions for Use
- Take it orally with water, generally 30 to 60 minutes before food or as prescribed.
- Take the tablet as a whole without crushing it.
- The tablet is to be taken at the same time daily.
- Do not chew the tablet.
