Medical Description

Roseday Gold Capsule is a combination medication used to prevent heart attacks, myocardial infarction (which involves reduced blood flow to the heart muscle), angina (chest pain), and strokes. It contains three active ingredients: rosuvastatin, aspirin, and clopidogrel. Roseday Gold works by reducing the levels of cholesterol and fats in the blood and preventing the formation of blood clots that can block blood vessels. After assessing your complete medical history, your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and duration for this medication. It is essential to take this medicine as prescribed and to follow your doctor's recommendations regarding lifestyle and dietary changes. Before using Roseday Gold Capsule, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, and make sure to provide a complete overview of your medical history.

  • Rosuvastatin works by lowering bad cholesterol and triglycerides and increasing good cholesterol, thus reducing the risk of heart diseases and preventing strokes and heart attacks.
  • Aspirin and clopidogrel work by preventing platelets from sticking together and thus inhibiting blood clot formation. It helps in keeping blood flowing smoothly in your body.

Interactions

Interactions with other medicines

Certain medicines can affect the way Roseday Gold Capsule works or this medicine itself can affect the action of other medicines taken along. Thus, it is important to inform your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Roseday Gold Capsule works by decreasing the elevated cholesterol levels in the blood that leads to the formation of plaque inside the walls of blood vessels. When this plaque breaks (ruptures), a blood clot quickly forms blocking the blood flow to heart muscles. This medicine also contains anti-coagulant components that prevent the platelet aggregation and formation of a blood clot.

Roseday Gold Capsule can cause tiredness as a side effect. However, not everyone taking this medicine gets this side effect.
