Uses
- Anxiety disorder (excessive thoughts that are difficult to control)
- Panic disorder (sudden attacks of extreme fear)
- Hypertension (high blood pressure)
- Heart arrhythmias (irregular heart rhythm)
- Post Myocardial Infarction (to protect the heart after a heart attack)

- You have diabetes; this medicine may lower your blood sugar level.
- You have heart, thyroid, kidney, or liver problems.
- You are suffering from a disease called Myasthenia Gravis (a condition in which the muscles under your control, like legs and hands, become tired too quickly and feel weak).
- You have problems related to your lungs or breathing; this medicine may worsen these problems.
Directions for Use
- Pronol H Tab 10'S must be taken per the doctor’s prescription.
- Pronol H Tab 10'S can be taken with or without food.
- Make sure to swallow the tablet as a whole and not chew, crush or break it.
- It must be taken at the same time as per prescription to ensure better efficacy and benefits.

- Symptoms of an overdose of Pronol H Tab 10'S can be fatal and include low blood pressure, slow heart rate, breathing difficulties, low blood sugar, tiredness, confusion, heart failure, and even coma.

Interactions with other medicines
- Pronol H Tab 10'S should not be taken with other medicines used to treat hypertension, such as nifedipine and nicardipine, as this increases the risk of heart failure.
- The following medicines, when taken with Pronol H Tab 10’S, decreases their effectiveness and hence must be avoided:
- Ibuprofen (painkiller)
- Ergotamine (medicine to treat migraine)
- Chlorpromazine (medicine to treat mental disorders)
- Rifampicin (medicine for the treatment of tuberculosis)
- St John's wort (herbal medicine for depression)
- Life-threatening side-effects of an overdose may result if the following medicines are taken with Pronol H Tab 10'S and therefore must be avoided:
- Cimetidine (medicine to treat stomach problems)
- Warfarin (medicine for blood-thinning)
- Fluvoxamine (medicine to treat anxiety)
Interactions with food items
- Tobacco products
- Caffeine
- Grapefruit and grapefruit juice
