Contraindications
- If you have paroxetine hypersensitivity or an allergy to any other ingredients present in Paxitor Cr tablets.
- If you are currently using Monoamine oxidase Inhibitors (MAOI) or have used them within the last 14 days.

Directions for Use
- Always take the Paxitor Cr tablet exactly as directed by your doctor.
- You can take the Paxitor Cr tablet with or without food.
- Swallow Paxitor Cr tablet with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush it.
- Read the label instructions carefully.
- Dosage should be taken in recommended amounts at a particular time in a day to get maximum benefits and desired clinical effect.

How Does It Work?
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- To avoid undesirable side effects of drug interaction, inform your doctor about all medicines and supplements you are currently taking.
- Paxitor Cr tablet can cause adverse reactions when taken with the following medicines:
- Interaction with other Monoamine oxidase Inhibitors like triptans, tramadol, linezolid, methylthioninium chloride (methylene blue), lithium, pethidine can increase the risk of serotonin syndrome.
- Interaction with mivacurium & suxamethonium may reduce plasma cholinesterase activity resulting in a prolongation of the neuromuscular blocking action.
- Interaction with pravastatin may lead to an increase in blood glucose levels.
- Interaction with thioridazine & pimozide increases the risk of QT interval prolongation leading to changes in heart rhythm.
Interactions with food items
- Unless your physician suggests, there is no need to avoid any food or drink when taking the Paxitor Cr tablet.
