Onon Syrup 30ml Description

Onon Syrup is primarily used to alleviate vomiting and nausea in children. It is also used to treat vomiting and nausea caused by surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, or intestinal illnesses. This sy

rup helps manage the vomiting produced by certain medications like pain relievers. The active ingredient in Onon Syrup is Ondansetron, an antiemetic. Directions for use of Onon Syrup should be strictly followed. The syrup can be consumed before or after meals. This medication is given to the child half an hour before the surgery to prevent vomiting caused by chemotherapy. It should be administered 1-2 hours before radiotherapy sessions and 60 minutes before surgical intervention to prevent them from vomiting after the procedure. If the child vomits within half an hour of taking Onon Syrup, another dose should be given. Some temporary side effects of Onon Syrup include headaches, constipation, diarrhoea, and exhaustion. Once the child's body adjusts to the medicines, these reactions usually disappear. However, if they persist or worsen, a doctor must be consulted as soon as possible. It is important to inform the physician about the child's complete medical history and all current medications like pain relievers, antidepressants, and antibiotics. Also, the doctor should be notified in case the child has any liver disorders, renal difficulties, gastrointestinal blockages, heart issues, or hypersensitivity to any medication, its constituents, or a food supplement.
