Onabet 2 % Description

Onabet cream is used in the treatment of fungal infections of the skin, nails and scalp. It contains sertaconazole an antifungal medicine. Onabet works by inhibiting the enzyme responsible for cell wall synthesis of fungi which stops the growth of fungus and kills the fungus responsible for the infection. This cream should not be used in patients below 12 years of age. It is meant only for external application and should be applied exactly as recommended by your doctor. Wash your hand after applying Onabet cream. You may experience some application site reactions as side effects, but they normally fade away with time. Please report to your doctor if you notice the side effects persist or worsen.
