This medicine is available on doctor's prescription and should be used at a dose and for a duration recommended by a doctor. Before using Nuro Beta Tablet, it is essential that you inform your doctor if you are allergic to propranolol or if you have health condition such as asthma, heart problems, low blood pressure, liver problems, or thyroid problems. - High-fat foods, such as olive oil, nuts and seeds (Brazil nuts), dark chocolate, butter, and meat, should be avoided when using Nuro Beta 40mg Tablet.
Interactions of Nuro Beta 40 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- Concomitant use of medicines used to lower blood sugar can cause alterations in the heart rate and insulin
- Concomitant use of rizatriptan and propranolol increases blood levels of rizatriptan
- Concomitant use of digitalis glycosides may increase AV conduction time
- Concomitant use of calcium channel blockers (e.g. verapamil, diltiazem, nifedipine) can cause a severe drop in blood pressure and heart rate and cause heart failure
- Concomitant use of adrenaline can lower the effectiveness of propranolol
- Concomitant use of lidocaine levels can increase blood levels of lidocaine
- Concomitant use of cimetidine or hydralazine raises propranolol blood levels
- Concomitant use of ibuprofen and indomethacin reduces propranolol's blood pressure-lowering effects
- Concomitant use of chlorpromazine raises blood levels of both the medicines
- Concomitant use of anaesthetic medications increases the risk of a severe drop in blood pressure

- Nuro Beta tablets should be kept out of the reach of pets and children
- The tablets should be stored below 25°C
- Do not use Nuro Beta tablets after expiry date
- Do not dispose of medications in the wastewater or household waste
