Description
Moveril gel is a pain-relieving medication. Reducing the inflammation and pain caused by various conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, etc., is the primary use of Mov
eril gel. It is also used to lower back pain, pain due to an injury, etc. It is composed of Tramadol, Diclofenac and Methyl Salicylate as its active ingredients. The mode of action of Moveril gel is by blocking specific receptors and lowering chemical substances responsible for causing pain, thus resulting in reduced pain signals. It also contains linseed Oil and menthol, which produces calm and cooling effects at the site of injury. This gel is meant for external application only. Burning or stinging sensation, irritation, itching, redness, etc., at the site of application are some of the common side effects of Moveril gel. Eventually, these side effects will go away as the body gets used to them. However, consult a doctor if they get worse or do not subside for a long time. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, using other medications, or have any other conditions.

- As per CDSCO, Moveril gel is used to manage mild to moderate pain in patients with various conditions.
- It can be used in acute (injury, accident) and chronic conditions (Rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, etc.)
Contraindications of Moveril Gel 30gm
- If you have any allergic reaction to Tramadol, Diclofenac, Methyl Salicylate, linseed Oil and menthol, avoid taking Moveril gel
- If you are already using similar medications or gels.
