Description
Macox Plus is a type of anti-tubercular drug which is used in the treatment of tuberculosis. Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that affects the lungs caused by a bacteria, namely Mycobacterium tu
berculosis. Macox Plus is a combination of two drugs, namely Rifampicin and Isoniazid. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria responsible for causing tuberculosis.

Mode of Action of Macox Plus 450/300mg Strip Of 6 Tablets
How Does It Work?
Macox Plus contains two active ingredients: Rifampicin (450 mg) and Isoniazid(300 mg). Rifampicin works by inhibiting a bacterial enzyme that helps grow bacteria.
Isoniazid works on the cell wall of bacteria and thereby deactivating the bacteria. Both of these work together against the growth of bacteria....
Directions for Use of Macox Plus 450/300mg Strip Of 6 Tablets
- Macox Plus should be taken according to the recommendation of a doctor.
- It is usually taken as a long term medicine in combination with other medicines.
- It has to be taken on an empty stomach, preferably 1 hr before taking food or 2 hrs after the food. Try to maintain a schedule and have the medicine at the same time every day.
- The tablet has to be swallowed whole orally with a glass of water. The tablet should not be chewed, crushed or broken.

Overdose
- Do not take medicine more than the advised dosage. In case of an allergic reaction like swelling of the face or tongue, rush to the hospital. Overdose can exhibit severe side effects. Seek immediate help in case of overdose....
Missed a Dose
If you miss a dose, try to take the tablet as soon as you remember. If it is almost the time of the next dose, do not take the double dose. Try to stick to the previous schedule.
