Macfast Injection is a medicine used for relieving pain and reducing fever. It contains paracetamol. Macfast is used in short term treatment of pain especially after surgery and for fever when medici
nes can not be taken orally by the patient. Paracetamol works by interfaring with release of certain natural chemical substance (prostaglandins) and relieves pain & fever. How Does It Work?
There are some chemicals in the body called prostaglandins. These are substances that cause pain, swelling, fever. Macfast Injection contains paracetamol which blocks the production of these prostaglandins, thus temporarily controlling fever or pain.
