• If your child is allergic to Levosalbutamol/Levalbuterol or any of the ingredients of Levolin syrup.
• If your child is already taking other medicines used to treat high blood pressure, such as propranolol.

• Nausea

• Fatigue

Other General Warnings

• Your child is suffering from asthma.
• Your child has an overactive thyroid gland.
• Your child has a history of heart problems like irregular heartbeat, heart failure, and chest pain.
• Your child has diabetes because your blood sugar level may rise, and continuous monitoring is required.
• Your child may experience allergic reactions during the treatment, like hives, itching, swelling, etc.
• Your child has muscle pain or weakness or an irregular heartbeat that could be due to low potassium levels.
• Your child experiences fast breathing, nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain. It can be due to increased lactic acid in your body.
• You feel that Levolin syrup is less effective and not able to give you relief for your child, as this medicine is for short-term treatment of airway obstruction.
• Your child may experience chest pain or breathing problems during the treatment with Levolin syrup. Consult your doctor immediately. It can be underlying heart disease.

• Give Levolin 1 mg syrup as instructed by your doctor, preferably after meals.
• Shake well before use.
• Read the instructions on the bottle before use.
• Do not consume medicine directly from the bottle.
• Use a proper measuring cup or spoon for the exact quantity.

• Store at a cool and dry place below 25°C.
• Keep it protected from light and out of reach of children and pets.

• Levolin syrup treats symptoms like coughing, wheezing, and chest tightness in children. Follow the prescribed dosage, and notify the doctor of any allergies.
• Shake well before use and use a dropper for accurate dosing. Contact the doctor if your child experiences fast breathing, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, or allergic reactions like hives, itching, or swelling.

Overdose

• Symptoms of overdose include increased heart rate, nervousness, headache, tremor, nausea, dizziness, fatigue, sleeplessness and decreased potassium levels. If you have taken too much of the medicine and you experience symptoms, contact the doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.

Interactions with other medicines

• Certain medicines can affect the way Levolin syrup or this syrup itself can affect the action of other medicines taken simultaneously.
• Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently giving or might give to avoid any possible interaction.
• Especially if you are giving medicines like water pills, anti-depressants, other medicines to treat asthma, steroid medications,anti-diabetics, etc.
• Levolin 1 mg syrup should be discontinued for 6 hours before any planned dental procedures or surgeries which might involve the use of inhalational anaesthetics, as it can lead to heart problems or bleeding disorders.

Interactions with food items
