Medical Description

Lecope-M tablet is used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis such as a runny & stuffed nose, blockage in airways, sneezing, itching, watery eyes and other allergic symptoms. It is an anti-allergic medicine. Lecope-M Tablet contains a combination of montelukast and levocetirizine. Lecope M works by blocking the production of chemicals responsible for causing the allergy. It should be taken as directed by the doctor for the exact duration and dose as prescribed. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water, with or without food. Your doctor may advise you to take the Lecope-M tablet, preferably at bedtime. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding and about all the medicines and supplements you take and all the conditions or diseases you suffer from before starting this medicine.

Lecope-M tablet is used for relieving the symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as a runny or stuffed nose, blockage in airways, difficulty in breathing, sneezing and watery eyes.

Contraindications

  • If you are allergic to levocetirizine, cetirizine or any other components of Lecope-M tablets.
  • If you have kidney problems or you are undergoing dialysis.
  • If you are unable to digest lactose and glucose (galactose intolerance).

Directions for Use

Lecope-M tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not cut, break or chew the medicine. It should preferably be taken at night. It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results and not consume it more than that prescribed by your doctor.

If you have missed taking any dose of Lecope M, take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose of this medicine to compensate for the missed one.
