Fusimed Ointment is a topical antibiotic. It contains sodium fusidate as the active ingredient. It works by killing the bacteria that cause infections. Fusimed Ointment is used to treat bacterial ski

n infections such as impetigo (a weeping, crusty and swollen patch of skin), infected dermatitis (inflammation of the skin) and spots, and infected cuts and grazes. Do not use this medicine to treat any other skin conditions other than that prescribed by your doctor. Fusimed Ointment is meant for external application only. Do not use more of the medicine or apply it more often than recommended.

Fusimed Ointment acts by preventing the process of protein generation in the bacteria. Due to the lack of protein synthesis, the bacteria ultimately die.

Directions for Use of Fusimed 20 MG

Fusimed Ointment should be used exactly as recommended by your doctor.
Clean and dry your hands before and after applying the medicine.
Apply a thin layer of the medication only to the affected areas and rub gently to cover the entire affected area.
In case your eyes come in contact with this medicine, rinse your eyes with clean water immediately.
