Fosfona 3 MG Description

Fosfona sachet 8gm contains Fosfomycin as the active component. It is used to treat urinary tract infection. It is also used to treat uncomplicated cystitis, a condition that causes inflammation in t

he urinary bladder due to bacterial infection. Fosfomycin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic which exhibits a strong bacteria-killing action. It blocks bacterial cell wall formation synthesis, thereby leading to bacterial cell death. This medicine is only available on a doctor's prescription and should be taken at a dose and for a duration prescribed by the doctor. Do not use this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless recommended by a doctor. In addition, this medicine is not recommended in children below 12 years of age. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you are allergic to any ingredients. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any unusual side effects after taking this medicine.
