Enteroquinol 250 MG Description

Enteroquinol tablet is used to treat protozoal infections such as intestinal amoebic dysentery, amoebic colitis, giardiasis, and vaginitis. It contains quiniodochlor as its active ingredient and works by killing the cyst that later forms the adult parasite in the intestine and causes the infection. Amoebic dysentery and amoebic colitis occur when the intestine is infected by an organism called an amoeba. Giardiasis occurs when food, water, or soil contaminated with giardia germs is swallowed. Vaginitis is the inflammation of the vagina that can cause symptoms such as itching, pain, and smelly discharge. Protozoal infection can cause vaginitis.
