Vitamin B3 or niacinamide is required for the formation of many enzymes in the body that play a role in various metabolic processes. It is an excellent anti-oxidant and has a role in the synthesis of cholesterol and fatty acids.
Vitamin B12 is essential for the functioning of the brain and nerves, for the production of red blood cells and for DNA synthesis. It also plays a major role in protein and fat metabolism, fertility and the functioning of various hormones.
Folic acid or vitamin B9 is essential for the formation of red blood cells. It is also required for the formation of DNA and other genetic material.
