Medical Description
Ecosprin Av Capsule is a combination medicine. It is used for the prevention of heart attack and stroke. It is also used for the treatment of abnormal cholesterol levels (dyslipidemia) in the body. Increased cholesterol often leads to the formation of plaques inside arteries and makes them narrow. This restricts the blood flow and can lead to the formation of blood clots and associated conditions such as heart attack and stroke. It contains atorvastatin and low dose aspirin as its active ingredients. Atorvastatin helps lower the cholesterol levels and low dose aspirin prevents blood clotting. It should be taken as prescribed and for the prescribed duration. Before using Ecosprin Av Capsule, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding and about your detailed medical history.
