Diamicron XR Mex 500 is a diabetes medication that combines two medicines: gliclazide and metformin. It helps control blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes. Avoid this medicine if you are allergic to it or have heart, liver, or kidney problems. Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor, and do not miss any doses. Before starting this medication, inform your doctor about all your current medications, supplements, and health conditions, especially if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding.

- If you have diabetic pre-coma
- If you have any severe infection
- If you are suffering from dehydration
- If you have a hereditary disease - porphyria
- If you are breastfeeding
- If you consume alcohol in excess
- If you are taking miconazole to treat fungal infections
