Dexasporin 8 MG Description

Dexasporin Injection is a steroid medicine. It is used to reduce severe inflammations in the joints like in the case of rheumatoid arthritis, a severe case of asthma and treat many conditions of skin

allergies, eye conditions and is also used in post-surgery care. It contains dexamethasone as its active ingredient. This medicine acts by reducing the formation of inflammation-causing substances in the body. It is given by a doctor or nurse in a hospital or clinic. Do not self inject.   • Dexasporin Injection is used to manage severe inflammations of joints and autoimmune disorders like rheumatoid arthritis.

  • Medicines like Rifampicin (antibiotic), Phenytoin, and Carbamazepine (used for epilepsy and seizures), Ephedrine, and Primidone can reduce the effect of Dexasporin Injection.
  • It can reduce the glucose-lowering effect of insulin and blood pressure-lowering effect of medicines used for high blood pressure and certain medicines used for heart failure such as Digoxin.
  • The effect of coumarin, a blood thinner is reduced when used concomitantly with Dexasporin and there is a risk of bleeding. Continuous monitoring is recommended.

  • Do not store above 25°C. Do not refrigerate or freeze.
