Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
Propranolol of Betanaz tablets is a beta blocker medication that reduces the heart rate by reducing the blood pressure and relaxing the blood vessels. Flunarizine along with propranolol prevents headache by its calcium entry and histamine H1 blocking activity....
Directions for Use
Please take Betanaz Plus tablets exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take them without a doctor's prescription. Betanaz Plus tablet must be swallowed whole with a glass of water.
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Cimetidine, quinidine, ritonavir, or any other inhibitors of Cytochrome P-450 system when taken along with Betanaz Plus tablets may cause increased concentration of propranolol in blood
- The blood concentration of propranolol may decrease when taken along with liver medications like rifampin, phenytoin or phenobarbital
- The concentration of propranolol increases when taken along with nisoldipine or nicardipine
Storage and disposal
Store Betanaz Plus tablets at room temperature away from moisture. Please keep the tablets out of reach from children and do not use the tablets past its date of expiry. Discard the unused medication using safe disposal protocols mentioned on its packaging....

Missed a Dose
