Attentrol Capsule is useful in treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Attentrol Capsule helps to improve concentration, attention span, and reduce impulsive behaviour by regulating the ac
tivity of certain brain chemicals. Attentrol Capsule belongs to the class of medicines called antidepressants that fight depression. Atomoxetine is the active ingredient of the Attentrol Capsule. *Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a disorder wherein poor concentration, low attention span, learning difficulties, hyperactivity, or impulsive behaviour is difficult to overcome. ADHD mainly affects kids but could affect some adults too. *Depression is a condition that negatively affects how a person thinks and acts. The affected individual has a negative thinking process with self-doubt, guilt or self-harm thoughts that affect work. The most common symptoms being constant sadness or low mood, sleep problems, headache, chest pain, digestive problems, aching muscles and joints, agitation, or restlessness.

Uses of Attentrol 25 MG
- Attentrol Capsule is helpful in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Contraindications of Attentrol 25 MG
- If you have an allergy to Attentrol Capsule.
- If you have severe liver disease.
- If you have heart disease such as high blood pressure.
- If you have glaucoma (increased pressure in the eyes).
- If you have pheochromocytoma.
- If you have a history of epilepsy/ fits.
- If you have taken antidepressants in the past 14 days
- *Pheochromocytoma is a tumour/ lump formed in the nerve cells of hormone-producing glands of the human body called adrenal glands.

Directions for Use of Attentrol 25 MG
- Swallow Attentrol Capsule as a whole with a glass full of water.
- Do not chew, break open, crush Attentrol Capsule.
- Take Attentrol Capsule with food or without food as advised by your doctor.
- Follow the dosage instructions given by your doctor.
- Never self-medicate.
- Your doctor will conduct a thorough evaluation and prescribe Attentrol Capsule only if it is helpful to you.
- Take Attentrol at the same time every day, as suggested by your physician. So, you can get its maximum benefits.
- Take Attentrol Capsule as long as advised by your doctor.
- If you experience any side effects, report them to your doctor:
- Usually, the side effects of Attentrol Capsules disappear on their own with time as your body gets used to the medicine. However, speak to your doctor if the side effects appear to bother you, are persistent, or seem too serious....
Interactions of Attentrol 25 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- If you are on MAO/ Monoamine Oxidase inhibitors such as Moclobemide, Rasagiline, or Selegiline. It can cause life-threatening reactions.
- If you are on antidepressants such as Amitriptyline, Morex, or Rimarex. It can cause serious side effects such as tremors, confusion, or muscle stiffness.
- If you are on medicines that fight Parkinson’s disease (nerve disease,) such as Afrelect or Rasalect.
- If you are on antibiotics such as Linezolid.
- If you are on pain killers such as Aspirin. It can cause severe side effects.

Dosage of Attentrol 25 MG
Overdose
If you suspect an overdose of Attentrol Capsule, contact your doctor immediately or rush to the nearest emergency department.
Missed a Dose
If you missed taking your dosage of Attentrol Capsule, take it as soon as you remember. Take only one dose if you remember it close to your next dose. Do not take two doses of Attentrol Capsule.
Try to take Attentrol Capsule at the same time every day as suggested by your doctor. It will avoid missed doses as well as overdosage....
