• Attentrol Capsule is helpful in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

• If you have an allergy to Attentrol Capsule.
• If you have severe liver disease.
• If you have heart disease such as high blood pressure.
• If you have glaucoma (increased pressure in the eyes).
• If you have pheochromocytoma.
• If you have a history of epilepsy/ fits.
• If you have taken antidepressants in the past 14 days
• *Pheochromocytoma is a tumour/ lump formed in the nerve cells of hormone-producing glands of the human body called adrenal glands.

• Headache
• Nausea/ vomiting sensation
• Decreased appetite/ loss of hunger
• Increased heart rate
• High blood pressure
• Pain in the abdomen

Other General Warnings

• You develop unusual changes in the behaviour, worsening of depression symptoms or new symptoms of depression.
• You have suicidal thoughts.
• You experience chest pain.
• You experience severe stomach pain.
• You have dark urine, pale stools, yellowish eyes or skin.
• You see a disturbing growth in children or teens.

• Swallow Attentrol Capsule as a whole with a glass full of water.
• Do not chew, break open, crush Attentrol Capsule.
• Take Attentrol Capsule with food or without food as advised by your doctor.
• Follow the dosage instructions given by your doctor.
• Never self-medicate.
• Your doctor will conduct a thorough evaluation and prescribe Attentrol Capsule only if it is helpful to you.
• Take Attentrol at the same time every day, as suggested by your physician. So, you can get its maximum benefits.
• Take Attentrol Capsule as long as advised by your doctor.
• If you experience any side effects, report them to your doctor:
• Usually, the side effects of Attentrol Capsules disappear on their own with time as your body gets used to the medicine. However, speak to your doctor if the side effects appear to bother you, are persistent, or seem too serious.

Interactions with other medicines

• If you are on MAO/ Monoamine Oxidase inhibitors such as Moclobemide, Rasagiline, or Selegiline. It can cause life-threatening reactions.
• If you are on antidepressants such as Amitriptyline, Morex, or Rimarex. It can cause serious side effects such as tremors, confusion, or muscle stiffness.
• If you are on medicines that fight Parkinson’s disease (nerve disease,) such as Afrelect or Rasalect.
• If you are on antibiotics such as Linezolid.
• If you are on pain killers such as Aspirin. It can cause severe side effects.
