Anxit 0.25 MG Description
Anxit Tablet contains an active ingredient called alprazolam, a class of benzodiazepines that act on the brain and nerves (central nervous system). An intermediate and fast-acting tranquilliser inter
feres with certain neurotransmitters’ natural state called gamma-Aminobutyric acid(GABA). Alprazolam binds to these GABA receptors and enhances the GABA enhanced synaptic inhibition, responsible for its calmness and sedation effects.

Directions for Use of Anxit 0.25 MG
- Tab. Anxit is to be taken as prescribed by your physician.
- Tab. Anxit can be taken sublingually by keeping it below your tongue for faster disintegration of the medicine and an immediate mode of action. Do not chew or bite.
- It can be taken orally with or without water.
- Do not share your medicine with anyone.
- Contact your doctor if you are experiencing uncontrollable side effects after taking this medicine.

Interactions with other medicines
- Concurrent use of alprazolam and opioids can result in severe respiratory depression and sedation.
- Alprazolam and CYP3A4 INHIBITORS like:
- Ketoconazole
- Clarithromycin

- Ritonavir
- Verapamil
- Diltiazem

- You can continue with the usual diet.
- Alprazolam can be taken with or without food.

Storage and disposal of Anxit 0.25 MG
Store Anxit medicine in a dry, cool place, away from heat and humidity. Keep the tablets in the same packing as they came. Keep them out of children’s reach. The pills that are not needed anymore should be safely disposed of to avoid accidental usage. They should not be flushed in the toilet....

Alprazolam overdose can result in seizures, respiratory depression, slowed breathing, sedation, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, insomnia, headaches, sweating, delirium, coma, slurred speech, muscle fatigue, ataxia, feeling lightheaded, fainting, or shallow breath.

Missed a Dose
