Anxit Tablet contains an active ingredient called alprazolam, a class of benzodiazepines that act on the brain and nerves (central nervous system). An intermediate and fast-acting tranquilliser inter

feres with certain neurotransmitters’ natural state called gamma-Aminobutyric acid(GABA). Alprazolam binds to these GABA receptors and enhances the GABA enhanced synaptic inhibition, responsible for its calmness and sedation effects.

Can I take Tablet Anxit while breastfeeding?

No, Tablet Anxit is not recommended during breastfeeding as alprazolam is secreted in breast milk and can affect the baby.
