Description
Anmol Gel is a topical pain relief Gel. It contains a combination of diclofenac, methyl salicylate, menthol, capsaicin and linseed oil. It is used for relieving pain, swelling, inflammation due to mu
scle, bones and joint-related problems. It is useful in pain due to sprains, strains, neck or shoulder and back injury, muscle stiffness, etc. Use Anmol Gel as advised by the doctor or pharmacist.

Uses
- For the treatment of pain, swelling and inflammation due to muscle, joint and bone-related disorders.
- It is used in relieving pain due to sprains, strains, tendonitis, bursitis, hand, neck, shoulder pain, sciatica, muscle stiffness, joint pain and backache.
Contraindications
If you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this Gel.
You have undergone cardiac surgery called Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) surgery.
You have experienced asthma, allergy, skin allergy upon the use of any pain-relieving medicine.
This Gel should not be used in children below 2 years of age and should be used under adults supervision for children older than 2 years of age. Avoid direct application into nostrils.
It should not be used on broken or irritated skin....

Avoid using it near the breast as it can lead to accidental ingestion of components of this Gel by the breastfed infant. Do not use it for a prolonged duration on a larger skin area.
Driving

Anmol Gel is less likely to affect your driving abilities.
Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol while using the Anmol Gel?
A:
There is no known interaction known between alcohol and this Gel.
Other General Warnings
Talk to your doctor if
- You experience any skin reactions such as rashes, itching and irritation after applying this Gel.
- You are taking any other medicines or any topical preparations.
- You have any health conditions, planned surgery or any vaccination scheduled.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use it for a prolonged duration in larger skin areas.
- You should not use this Gel if you are allergic to any component of the Anmol Gel.
- Anmol Gel should not be used concomitantly with sunscreens, cosmetics, lotions, moisturizers, insect repellents or other topical medications on the same skin sites.
- Contact with eyes and mucous membranes should be avoided and in case of contact wash the area immediately.
Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
Diclofenac is an anti-inflammatory and pain medicine. It helps in relieving pain and reduce swelling and inflammation. It locally works by reducing the production of inflammatory mediators responsible for pain and inflammation.
Menthol and Methyl salicylate acts as counter irritants. They produce a cooling sensation to the skin, followed by pain relief.
Menthol works by dilating the blood vessels, causing a sensation of coldness followed by an analgesic effect.
Methyl salicylate is an organic compound with anti-inflammatory properties. It is known to stimulate nerve endings that relieve symptoms of pain.
Linseed oil is known to have anti-inflammatory action and reduces swelling and redness.
Capsaicin is a topical analgesic agent used for symptomatic relief from muscle and joint pain....
Directions for Use
- Apply to the affected parts by applying a small amount and leave it.
- Anmol Gel should not be applied to open wounds, cuts and burns.
- Do not wear clothes or glovers for at least 10 mins of application.
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- This Gel should not be applied on the skin simultaneously with other topical products, including topical medications, sunscreens, lotions, moisturisers and cosmetics.
Storage and disposal
- Store it in a cool and dry place & away from heat.
- Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
Dosage
Overdose
Chances of an overdose are unlikely since this Gel is to be applied to the skin. Upon accidental ingestion contact your doctor or reach out to the nearest hospital.

Apply the missed dose as soon as you remember.
