Ambilon 50mg Vial Of 0.05gm Injection

• Ambilon 50 mg injection is used for the treatment of infections caused by fungi.
• Ambilon 50 mg injection is also used for the treatment of kala-azar (visceral leishmaniasis).

• Fever
• Shivering
• Headache
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Fever

Other General Warnings

• You previously had an allergic reaction to amphotericin B.
• You develop symptoms like fever, chills, difficulty breathing, back pain, redness of skin and face after taking this medicine.
• You are taking medicines like ciclosporin, aminoglycosides, pentamidine.
• You have low potassium levels.
• You have or recently had a white blood cell transfusion.
• You have kidney damage or are having dialysis.

• Ambilon 50 mg injection will be given to you in the hospital by your doctor or nurse.
• Do not self-inject this medicine.

• Store in a refrigerator between 2 - 8°C.
• Do not freeze.
• Keep away from children and pets.

Interactions with other medicines

• Some medicines can affect the way Ambilon 50 mg injection works or Ambilon 50 mg injection itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
• Tell your doctor about all medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
• The use of Ambilon 50 mg injection with medicines like ciclosporin, aminoglycosides, pentamidine can increase the risk of kidney damage.
• Particular care should be taken if you are taking medicines such as diuretics (furosemide, chlorothiazide), corticosteroids ( prednisone, corticotropin), digitalis glycosides (digoxin), skeletal muscle relaxants (tubocurarine), anti-cancer medicines (doxorubicin, bleomycin).
• Flucytosine when used together with Ambilon 50 mg injection may cause an increase in the side effects.
