Profuse Injection is a medicine used for relieving pain and reducing fever. It contains paracetamol. It is used for the short-term treatment of pain especially after surgery and fever when medicines

can not be taken orally by the patient. Paracetamol works by interfering with the release of certain natural chemical substances (prostaglandins) and relieves pain & fever. Contraindications of Profuse 1 G

If you are allergic to paracetamol or any ingredients of this medicine.
If you have serious liver disease or dysfunction.

Pregnancy

Can I take Profuse Injection during pregnancy?

Profuse Injection can be used during pregnancy if the doctor recommends. But it should be used for a short duration in low doses and not too frequently by pregnant women.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Profuse Injection while breastfeeding?

Paracetamol passes into breastmilk in small amount. Profuse Injection can be used during breastfeeding.

Driving

Can I drive if I have taken Profuse Injection?

Paracetamol is not likely to affect your ability to drive or use machines.

Alcohol
