Active or history of peptic ulcer/haemorrhage
You have shown hypersensitivity reactions to ibuprofen and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents
Hepatic or renal failure
Congestive heart failure
Ischaemic heart disease
Peripheral arterial disease
Cerebrovascular disease
History of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforations
Active bleeding disorder

Pregnancy

Can I use Paciklo Mr tablets during pregnancy?

You should avoid taking Paciklo Mr tablets during pregnancy as it may adversely affect foetal development. Unless the benefits outweigh the potential risk to the foetus, this tablet should be avoided.

Breast Feeding

Is it safe to take Paciklo Mr tablets while breastfeeding?

Paracetamol and aceclofenac are excreted in breast milk in a small amount; however, the risk associated with that exposure to the fetus cannot be excluded. Therefore only take this medicine if prescribed and considered safe by the doctor.

Driving

Can I drive if I have taken a Paciklo Mr tablet?

Undesirable effects like dizziness, fatigue, etc., may occur after taking NSAIDs; therefore, avoid driving or using heavy machinery if these symptoms are seen.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Paciklo Mr tablets?

It is best to avoid alcohol during the medication as it may intensify the side effects.

Interactions of Paciklo Mr Strip Of 10 Tablets

Interactions with other medicines

Paracetamol may prolong the effect of anticoagulants like warfarin and increase the risk of bleeding
Metoclopramide and domperidone may increase the speed of absorption of paracetamol
Colestyramine may reduce the absorption of paracetamol if given within one hour of paracetamol
Concomitant use of two or more NSAIDs should be avoided as they increase the risk of gastric bleeding
Concomitant use of NSAIDs with antihypertensives may reduce the efficacy of antihypertensive
The activity of diuretics may be inhibited in the presence of aceclofenac
The use of NSAIDs may exacerbate cardiac failure, reduce glomerular filtrate rate and inhibit renal clearance of glycoside
Corticosteroids also increase the risk of gastrointestinal ulceration or bleeding
