Can I use the Otodac-DX ear drops during pregnancy?

Otodac-DX ear drops are not recommended for use during pregnancy as their components may be unsafe, thus please consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Breast Feeding

Can I use the Otodac-DX ear drops while breastfeeding?

There is limited information available about the safety of the Otodac-DX ear drops in breastfeeding mothers. Mode of Action of Otodac Dx Ear Drops 5ml

How Does It Work?

Otodac-DX ear drops contain Dexamethasone and Ofloxacin. Dexamethasone is a steroid that reduces redness, swelling and irritation of the ears.
Ofloxacin is an antibiotic that controls bacterial infection.
Together this combination in the Otodac-DX ear drops works well in reducing the discomfort in the ears due to redness, swelling, irritation (inflammation) when some infection control is also needed.

Directions for Use of Otodac Dx Ear Drops 5ml

Use the Otodac-DX ear drops as directed by your doctor.
Follow all the directions carefully and do not miss any doses.
Read the instructions on the label before usage.
Shake it well before use.
Wash your hands thoroughly before and after instilling the Otodac-DX ear drops.
Use the exact number of drops recommended.
Tilt the head towards one side and place drops in the ear canal.
Keep head tilted for 2-3 minutes to let the drops soak in the ear.
Repeat for other ear if required after 5-10 minutes.
Avoid touching the tip of the container directly to the infected area.
