Lecet 2.5 MG/5ML Description

Lecet Syrup is an anti-allergic medicine used to provide relief from the symptoms of allergic rhinitis like sneezing, itchy nose, runny or blocked nose, cough and red and watery eyes. It is also used

to treat the symptoms of nettle rash (urticaria) in adults and children aged 2 years and above. Lecet Syrup contains levocetirizine as the active substance. It works by blocking the action of a chemical substance called histamine responsible for causing allergic reactions. Take this medicine in the exact dose and duration as directed by your doctor. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Shake well before use. Before using Lecet Syrup, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant, breastfeeding and about your complete medical history. Also, inform about all the medicines and supplements that you take.

  • If you are allergic to levocetirizine, cetirizine, hydroxyzine, any other piperazine derivatives or any other ingredient of Lecet Syrup.
  • If you have kidney failure/end stage kidney disease with an estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR) below 10 ml/min and require dialysis.
