Kojivit Plus gel is a skin depigmenting agent used to lighten hyperpigmentation/melasma. It contains a combination of octinoxate, glycolic acid, kojic acid, grape seed oil, arbutin, vitamin E, mulberry extract, and allantoin as active substances. Melasma is a condition where brownish to greyish patches of pigmentation occur on the skin or on the areas of the face exposed to the sun. Kojivit Plus gel works by decreasing the hyperpigmentation of the skin. It is meant for external applications only. You should use this gel exactly as recommended by the doctor. Do not use more Kojivit Plus gel or apply it more often than recommended.

- You are allergic to octinoxate, glycolic acid, kojic acid, grape seed oil, arbutin, vitamin E, mulberry extract, allantoin, or any of the components of Kojivit Plus gel.
- You are pregnant, plan on becoming pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
- You develop any skin irritation or rashes after using Kojivit Plus gel.
- You are going to be exposed to sunlight for long periods.
- You are using any other medications for treating other skin conditions.
Directions for Use
- Kojivit Plus gel should be used as recommended by your doctor.
- Clean and dry your hands before applying the gel.
- Wash and clean the affected area and let it dry before application.
- Apply a pea-sized amount of Kojivit Plus gel to the hyperpigmented areas.
- Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of accidental contact, wash your eyes with clean water immediately.
- Avoid covering the affected area with a bandage or wrap.
Storage and disposal
- Store Kojivit Plus gel in a cool and dry place below 25°C. Do not freeze.
- Keep it away from children and pets.
Ingredients and Benefits
- Kojivit Plus gel contains a combination of octinoxate, glycolic acid, kojic acid, grape seed oil, arbutin, vitamin E, mulberry extract, and allantoin as active substances.
- Octinoxate is a photoprotective agent (chemical sunscreen) that absorbs UV-B and UV-A rays of sunlight and prevents damage to skin cells after sunlight exposure. it also prevents photo pigmentation.
- Glycolic acid is a natural skin exfoliant. It reduces skin discolouration and may also help minimize fine lines and wrinkles. Glycolic acid also assists penetration of other ingredients in the skin.
- Kojic acid and arbutin prevent the action of a chemical called tyrosinase which is involved in the production of the skin pigmenting substance, melanin. This decreases the production of melanin in the skin. It is known to have skin-lightening and depigmenting actions. It helps prevent dark spots or fades them, leading to a more even complexion. It has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties which protect skin from damage. It also has skin lightening and protective action and helps to improve skin texture.
- Grape seed oil is an antioxidant with skin-lightening properties. It helps to prevent the skin damage caused by free radicals and also protects from sun damage.
- Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that protects the cells from the damaging effects of substances called free radicals. It helps to lighten dark spots on your face caused by sun damage as the skin repair qualities. It also moisturizes your skin and promotes the regeneration of skin cells.
- Mulberry extract is an antioxidant that protects against the UVB and UVA rays of sunlight and prevents damage to skin cells after sunlight exposure. The mulberry extract may help improve skin tone and act as a natural skin lightener. This may help reduce pigmentation and lighten skin discolouration.
- Allantoin moisturizes the skin and soothes irritated skin. It acts as an exfoliant and removes dead skin cells, and increases the formation of new skin cells.
