Karvol Plus Inhalation Capsule
Description
Karvol Plus capsule is an inhalant made from a blend of aromatic oils such as menthol, chlorophyll, eucalyptol, terpinol, and camphor. It is primarily used to provide quick relief from nasal congestion caused by colds or respiratory infections. When inhaled with steam, it acts as a decongestant by thinning mucus, aiding its drainage, and easing breathing difficulties. It also calms irritation in the nose and throat, offering comfort during colds and congestion.
This medicine should be used solely for inhalation as advised by your doctor. Do not swallow the capsule and avoid direct contact with the eyes, nose, or mouth. Karvol Plus capsule is not intended for use in asthma patients, and its safety during pregnancy or breastfeeding has not been established, so consulting your doctor before use is advisable.
As with any medication, Karvol Plus capsule may cause side effects. The most common include nasal irritation, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, headaches, dizziness, and confusion. If these symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical advice promptly. Though rare, serious allergic reactions require urgent medical attention.
For optimal results, always follow the prescribed usage and do not exceed the recommended frequency. Proper steam inhalation with the capsule helps maximise its decongestant effect and provides quicker relief from a blocked nose and breathing difficulties.
Other inhalant capsules with similar compositions include Genvol Plus capsule, Sinarest vapocaps, and Easibreathe inhalation capsules. Your doctor may recommend any of these based on your condition and stock availability.
