Exiplon Syrup 100ml Description

Exiplon Syrup is used to treat dry cough and runny nose associated with flu or allergies of the upper respiratory tract. The active ingredients in Exiplon Syrup are chlorpheniramine maleate and codei

ne. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that treats the allergy by working on certain sites in the body and blocking the production of those substances that cause sensitiveness to the allergens. Codeine is an opioid that works by suppressing the cough-inducing centre in the brain. The two ingredients bring relief from allergies, pain, and cold and cough. Side effects of Exiplon Syrup include sleepiness, headache, feeling sick, low blood pressure, constipation, and stomach pain. Directions for use of Exiplon Syrup should be strictly followed. It is not advisable for children under twelve. The active ingredient codeine in Exiplon Syrup has the potential to cause dependency. It should be taken in the dosage recommended by the doctor. Exiplon Syrup may cause serious breathing complications, coma, and even death if consumed in a higher dosage or used with other opioid-containing medicines.
