Medical Description

Antipsychotic medication Arip Mt Tablet. It treats schizophrenia (causing delusions and hallucinations), bipolar disorder(a mood swing illness characterised by bouts) and depression. Arip Mt Tablet is best taken first thing in the morning, with or without food. However, it is recommended that you take it at the same time. Your doctor will determine the dose and frequency of administration so that you get the optimum amount to control your symptoms. It could be progressively raised. It could take some time. Headache, lethargy, nausea, vomiting, and blurred vision are all frequent adverse effects of this medication. If any adverse effects persist or worsen, please contact your doctor.

Alcohol

  • You have Tardive dyskinesia(abnormal involuntary movements)-Arip Mt Tablet may induce involuntary movements of the tongue, lips, and face.

  • Arip Mt Tablet has the potential to raise blood glucose and cholesterol levels in the body. These indicators must be assessed before treatment begins, and they must be monitored on a regular basis.

Directions for Use

  • When taking this medicine, follow your doctor's recommendations.
  • Take it with or without food.
  • Swallow the pill whole with a sip of water.
  • The medicine should not be crushed or chewed.
  • Do not consume more or less than what is recommended.
  • It's given in small dosages at first, then gradually increased based on the patient's response.
  • Speak to your doctor if you experience negative side effects. Your doctor will establish the proper dose and length of therapy for you based on your age, weight, and health condition.

Storage and disposal

Missed a Dose

If you miss a dose of Arip Mt Tablet, it is recommended that you take it as soon as possible. If the length of time missed is excessive, and the next dose is approaching, it's advisable to skip the missed dose and get back on track. Do not take two tablets at once.

Yes, in some cases, Arip Mt Tablet can produce priapism (a prolonged and painful erection ). It may also create impulse control disorder, in which the patient has uncontrollable urges or cravings that are out of character for them. The patient may have an excessively high sex desire or have an increase in sexual thoughts or feelings in this scenario.

An immediate-release tablet's peak effect takes 1 to 3 hours, whereas an extended-release tablet's peak effect takes 5 to 7 hours.

Arip Mt Tablet is effective in treating bipolar disorder manic episodes and other mood symptoms, but not depressed episodes. As a result, it can be used in conjunction with mood stabilisers such as valproate to treat bipolar disorder.
