Medical Description
Syndopa Plus tablet is used for the treatment of Parkinson's disease and movement disorders. Parkinson's disease is a brain disorder that can lead to a decrease in the level of dopamine (a chemical substance) and loss of control over certain body functions of individuals. It is accompanied by shaking, stiffness and difficulty with walking, balance and coordination.
Syndopa Plus tablet is a combination medicine containing levodopa and carbidopa. It increases the level of a chemical substance called dopamine and helps in relieving the associated symptoms. Syndopa CR tablet, Tidomet Plus tablet and LCD tablet are a few other medicines containing levodopa and carbidopa.
Take this medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor, in the exact amount and time. Do not exceed the recommended dose. To make up for a missing dose, do not take a double dose.
In addition to taking Syndopa Plus tablet on time, it is recommended that you adopt certain lifestyle adjustments. Among these adjustments are exercising for 20-30 minutes every day, depending on your level of mobility, and quitting smoking and drinking alcohol.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, expecting to become pregnant, or breastfeeding before beginning Syndopa Plus pill. If you become pregnant while using this medicine, immediately discontinue use and notify your doctor. Inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking as well as your complete medical history.

Contraindications of SYNDOPA PLUS STRIP OF 15 TABLETS
- If you are allergic to levodopa, carbidopa or any ingredients of Syndopa Plus tablet.
- If you have a history of skin cancer called melanoma or the presence of moles on the skin, which a doctor has not clinically checked.
- If you are taking medicines for psychiatric health disorders belonging to a class, MOAIs like Rasagiline should be stopped at least 14 days before you start taking this medicine.
- If you have raised pressure in the eyes, it is a condition called narrow-angle Glaucoma.
- If you are diagnosed with any serious psychiatric illness.
- If you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant, or if you are a breastfeeding mother.
