Klik Clamp

Klik Clamp is a sterile, single-use umbilical cord clamp for newborn birth procedures. Made from non-toxic medical-grade polymer, it has a double-purpose security click lock, grooves to help hold the cord in place, and a finger grip for handling when gloves are wet.

• Check that the blister pack is sealed, sterile and undamaged.
• Open the pack using aseptic technique.
• Place the umbilical cord between the two arms, in the middle of the locking area.
• Press firmly until you hear a click, confirming that the clamp is locked.
• Cut the cord on the appropriate side as per procedure.
• Discard after single use as biomedical waste.
