Bifilac GG granules contain lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, a bacterium that is naturally present in the human body, primarily within the intestinal tract. This strain is recognised as a probiotic, or friendly bacteria, which helps to inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria in the stomach and intestines. Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG has gained popularity and is considered effective in treating or preventing diarrhoea associated with rotavirus in infants and children. Bifilac GG granules are effective in preventing antibiotic-associated diarrhoea in children.
