Thiavion 100 Mg Capsules

Ikon Thiavion 100 mg is an oral softgel capsule containing thiamine hydrochloride, a form of vitamin B1. It may help supplement thiamine intake and support normal energy metabolism and nerve function.

Take by mouth at the dose advised by your doctor. If you miss a dose, take it when you remember unless it is nearly time for the next dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and continue your usual schedule. Do not take two doses together. Taking it with food or water may help if mild nausea or stomach upset occurs. A different time of day may help if it affects sleep.

Taking excess thiamine may cause rash, itching, swelling, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache, fatigue or restlessness.

• Do not use if you are allergic to thiamine or any inactive ingredient.
• Thiamine may interact with diuretics such as furosemide and hydrochlorothiazide, and with the antibiotic trimethoprim. Ask a doctor before starting a new medicine.

• Seek medical advice immediately after an overdose. Stop use and contact your doctor if a reaction is severe or gets worse.
