Ultrasone Ht Cream contains hydroquinone, mometasone and tretinoin as its active ingredients. It is a combination cream used to treat a skin condition known as melasma. Melasma is hyperpigmentation o
f facial skin that appears like brown patches or a typical butterfly shape. It is caused due to hormonal changes, pregnancy, ageing and sun exposure. Melasma affects women more than men. Hydroquinone is a synthetic compound that targets excess melanin production and helps skin lightening. Mometasone is a steroid that reduces redness and inflammation associated with skin conditions. Tretinoin is a derivative of vitamin A required for the regeneration of old/ pigmented skin. Ultrasone Ht Cream is meant to be only applied externally. Hands must be cleaned thoroughly before and after the use of Ultrasone Ht Cream. The cream should be applied to clean and dry skin. Ultrasone Ht Cream is used as prescribed by your doctor. Use of sunscreen/sun shield is a must while treating melasma. Ultrasone Ht Cream can cause side effects like dry skin, burning, itching and redness over the applied areas. Do a patch test before starting Ultrasone Ht Cream for the face. Ultrasone Ht Cream is to be used for a maximum of 8 to 12 weeks, after which you will need to evaluate your treatment plan with your doctor. Ultrasone Ht Cream is not prescribed to anyone less than 12 years.

How Does It Work?
Directions for Use of Ultrasone Ht Cream
- Apply Ultrasone Ht Cream externally. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after you use the cream.
- Apply Ultrasone Ht cream as and as many times as prescribed by your physician. Do not rub it vigorously or around cuts, irritated skin or wounds. Do not apply it on the sunburnt or infected skin.
- Apply it evenly and as a thin layer. Excess use of the product may cause thinning of the skin over days of use.
- Do not let anyone else touch the area until the ointment is dry. Care should be taken to not get Ultrasone Ht Cream around the eyes, nose, inside ears or other body openings. Wash with water thoroughly in case it happens. Consult your physician if you still feel uncomfortable or notice severe reactions. ...
- Check expiry date before use of any medication. Do not use Ultrasone Ht Cream if it has changed colour.
- Do not share Ultrasone Ht Cream with anyone who has melasma/pigmentation issues.

Interactions with other medicines
- Ultrasone Ht Cream should not be used along with/ given with caution with:
- Topical tetracyclines (antibiotics) as it can cause sensitive skin that is more prone to sunburn.
Interactions with food items
- Food reactions are not relevant as Ultrasone Ht Cream is only meant to be applied to the skin externally and not to be ingested. Diet can be regular unless advised otherwise by your physician. Reducing oil and dairy food in your diet can help treat skin conditions....
