ynthesis of bacterial proteins. This medicine is only available on a doctor's prescription and should be taken at a dose and for a duration prescribed by the doctor. Interactions with other medicines

Concomitant use of aluminium and magnesium containing Antacids decreases peak blood levels of azithromycin
Azithromycin increases blood levels of Theophylline
Azithromycin increases effects of warfarin
Azithromycin increases blood levels of digoxin and cyclosporine
Azithromycin causes carbamazepine toxicity if administered together
Azithromycin Increases blood levels of Triazolam leading to toxicity
