Cefprozil belongs to the class of cephalosporin antibiotics; it works by stopping the growth of bacteria.

Directions for Use of Zalozil 500 MG

Take the tablets in the dose and for the duration as advised by your physician
Do not chew, break or crush the tablet
Take the tablet as a whole with a glass of water

Interactions of Zalozil 500 MG

Interactions with other medicines

Aspartame should not be used during the course of medication of the Zalozil tablet
Cefprozil decreases the effects of BCG, cholera and typhoid live vaccine by pharmacodynamic antagonism
The effect of conjugated estrogen decreases when co-administered with cefprozil by alternating intestinal flora
Furosemide, when taken with cefprozil, is known to increase the effect of cefprozil
Ticarcillin either increases the levels of the other by decreasing renal clearance
The effect of warfarin is increased when co-administered with cefprozil
Aspirin and hydrochlorothiazide with cefprozil have shown increased effects
The action of antibiotics like chloramphenicol decreases in the presence of cefprozil
