Medical Description

Elosone HT cream is a combination medicine used for the treatment and prevention of moderate-to-severe melasma (dark and discoloured patches on the skin) and senile lentigines (dark spots or age spots in older people due to exposure to the sun).

Melasma is a condition where the skin develops brown or blue-grey patches on the face, which may be due to hormonal changes or exposure to the sun. This cream lightens the skin tone or appearance. Elosone-HT cream contains a combination of three medicines - mometasone, tretinoin and hydroquinone as an active ingredient.

Do not use it for a prolonged duration unless it is prescribed by your dermatologist, as it contains a steroid. Avoid using this cream near the eyes or contact with this cream. If it comes in contact with the eyes, rinse the eye immediately. Wash your hands before and after applying this cream. Avoid sun exposure immediately after applying this medicine. Use Elosone HT exactly as instructed by the doctor.
