Medical Description
Ceftas 200 tablets contain cefixime, an antibiotic used to fight bacterial infections in many parts of your body, such as your ears, nose, throat, sinuses, lungs, urinary tract, and reproductive organs. It's also used against typhoid fever. Like most medications, Ceftas 200 can have side effects, including mild nausea, stomach upset, and diarrhoea. If these bother you or don't go away, talk to your doctor. This antibiotic works by stopping the growth of bacteria causing the infection.
It's crucial to take Ceftas 200 exactly as your doctor prescribes, even if you start to feel better. Finishing the full course of antibiotics is essential to ensure the infection is completely cleared and prevent antibiotic resistance. To avoid stomach upset, it's best to take the tablets with food. Swallow them whole don't chew, crush, or break them. While you can take them with or without food, taking them at the same time each day can help you remember.
Taxim O 200mg tablet, Zifi 200mg tablet, Cefix 200mg tablet, and Cefolac 200mg tablet are other tablets containing cefixime as the main ingredient.
