  • Do not use this medication with sedatives
  • Monoamine oxidase inhibitors should be avoided with this tablet as they may lead to dangerous drug interaction and may lead severe side effects
  • Barbiturates, antidepressants, antipsychotics or medicines should be avoided as they cause sleep as they interact with sneezy syrup
  • Non-prescription cold and cough preparations can intensify the side effects
  • Anti-epilepsy medicines when given with this syrup increases the chances of having severe side effects
  • Concomitant use of paracetamol with anti-coagulants like warfarin may increase the effect of warfarin and increases the risk of bleeding
  • Co-administration of metoclopramide, and domperidone may increase the speed of absorption of paracetamol
  • Concurrent use of hypnotics or anxiolytics may increase the sedative effect
