Macox Zh Kid Strip Of 10 Tablets Description
Macox Zh Kid Tab is a combination of three medicines used to manage tuberculosis in children. The three medicines are Isoniazid, Rifampicin, and Pyrizinamide. Unfortunately, this tablet can be toxic
in some cases, hence reducing the patient's compliance. Side effects of Macox Zh Kid Tab include nausea, vomiting, dark coloured urine, rash, fever, and jaundice. Do not stop the medicine abruptly as it will reduce the efficacy of the tablet and enforce a longer course of the treatment. The patient must follow the complete course of 9 to 12 months as advised by the physician.

Mode of Action of Macox Zh Kid Strip Of 10 Tablets
How Does It Work?
Macox Zh Kid has a combination of three medicines - isoniazid, rifampicin, and pyrazinamide.
Isoniazid interrupts the formation of the bacterial covering (mycolic acid synthesis inhibition). Rifampicin interferes with the synthesis of the enzyme RNA that forms an essential component in bacterial multiplication. Pyrazinamide kills the tuberculosis-causing bacteria by disrupting their covering and transport activity. Isoniazid and rifampicin act on the bacteria inside and outside the cell, while pyrazinamide acts only on the bacteria present inside the cell....
Directions for Use of Macox Zh Kid Strip Of 10 Tablets
- Macox Zh Kid comes as a dispersible tablet. This tablet must be dissolved in a spoonful of water in a small container and then given to the child.
- This medicine should be given on an empty stomach.
- Never give your child the tablet as a whole or broken or crushed. The tablet is not palatable in these forms, and your child may resist consuming it.
- Read the expiry date on the strip before starting the medicine course.
- You should not stop the medicine abruptly without discussing it with your doctor.

Overdose
Macox Zh kid tablet overdose may happen due to accidental feeding, giving double dose due to a missed dose, repeating the dose to have more effect, or giving more tablets intentionally. The constituents of these tablets are toxic to the liver and can have adverse effects on it. Missed a Dose
Missed dose of Macox Zh Kid will not cause any harm to the child. It is preferable to keep a fixed time for the medicine every day.
