Dosage

Overdose

Macox Zh kid tablet overdose may happen due to accidental feeding, giving double dose due to a missed dose, repeating the dose to have more effect, or giving more tablets intentionally. The constituents of these tablets are toxic to the liver and can have adverse effects on it. Overdose may lead to jaundice, vomiting, dark urine, peripheral neuropathy, and pyridoxine vitamin deficiency. Consult your physician or seek emergency medical help in case of an overdose.

Missed a Dose

Missed dose of Macox Zh Kid will not cause any harm to the child. It is preferable to keep a fixed time for the medicine every day. If you have forgotten to take a dose and recall within a short while of missing it, you can take it. But you should not take it if you recall after a long gap. Do not double the number of tablets to compensate for the missed dose. Taking a double dose may cause serious side effects.

Mode of Action

How Does It Work?

Macox Zh Kid has a combination of three medicines - isoniazid, rifampicin, and pyrazinamide. Isoniazid interrupts the formation of the bacterial covering (mycolic acid synthesis inhibition). Rifampicin interferes with the synthesis of the enzyme RNA that forms an essential component in bacterial multiplication. Pyrazinamide kills the tuberculosis-causing bacteria by disrupting their covering and transport activity. Isoniazid and rifampicin act on the bacteria inside and outside the cell, while pyrazinamide acts only on the bacteria present inside the cell.
