Other General Warnings

• If your seizures become worse after taking Lonazep 1mg.

How Does It Work?

Interactions with other medicines

• Cough or pain relievers like Codeine and Hydrocodone. Taking Lonazep 1mg with codeine or hydrocodone can cause intense side effects like coma, respiratory distress and even death.
• Anti-anxiety medicines like Alprazolam, Lorazepam and Zolpidem. Lonazep 1mg interacts with these medications and results in intense side effects like drowsiness, difficulty concentrating, dizziness, and confusion.
• Muscle relaxants like Carisoprodol and Cyclobenzaprine. Using Lonazep 1mg with carisoprodol and cyclobenzaprine may aggravate side effects like dizziness, concentration difficulty and confusion.
• Diuretics like Indapamide and Bendroflumethiazide. Taking Lonazep 1mg with diuretics (causing loss of water through frequent urination) may result in a fall in blood pressure. You may experience problems like fainting, headache, lightheadedness, dizziness and changes in pulse rate.

Interactions with food items

• It is better to avoid foods with caffeine like cola, chocolate, tea and coffee while taking Lonazep 1mg. Caffeine may reduce the effectiveness of Lonazep 1mg as it is a stimulant. Consult your doctor before consuming grapefruit juice while taking Lonazep 1mg.
