Lonazep 1 G Description

Lonazep 1mg uses include preventing and controlling seizures in epilepsy. Lonazep 1mg is also used to manage panic attacks. Lonazep 1mg falls under the category of medicines called benzodiazepines. T

hese medicines have a calming effect on your brain and nerves. Lonazep 1mg is also known as an anticonvulsant (prevents convulsions) or antiepileptic (prevents fits) medicine. Lonazep 1mg side effects are mild and are experienced only by some people. These side effects include fatigue (tiredness), loss of coordination and dizziness. Lonazep 1mg is usually used for a short period. Your dose of Lonazep 1mg will be decided after taking into account your age, medical condition, health status and ailments. Lonazep 1mg will only work if taken regularly, as per your doctor's advice. Continue taking Lonazep 1mg even if you feel better. Do not stop Lonazep 1mg suddenly without medical advice. You may take Lonazep 1mg before or after meals. Take Lonazep 1mg after food to avoid stomach discomfort. Discontinuing Lonazep 1mg abruptly can cause withdrawal symptoms like hallucinations (seeing things that are not actually present), stomach or muscle cramps, uncontrollable shaking and worsening seizures (fits). Your doctor will reduce the dose of Lonazep 1mg gradually before stopping it completely to avoid withdrawal symptoms. Your doctor will conduct regular blood tests to monitor the effects of Lonazep 1mg.
