Medical Description

Linapil Tablet is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus in addition to diet and exercise to help improve blood glucose levels. It contains linagliptin as the active ingredient, which works by stimulating insulin release and reducing glucose release into the bloodstream. Diabetes is a serious health condition and, if not managed properly, can lead to various complications, affecting other organs such as the eyes, kidneys, and nerves. Therefore, it is recommended to maintain a healthy lifestyle and diet while regularly taking antidiabetic medications. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, and disclose all medications and supplements you take, as well as any health conditions or diseases you have before starting Linapil Tablet.

  • You have had an allergy due to the use of antidiabetic medicines or have a history of pancreatic disease. If you experience blistering of the skin, it may be a sign of a condition called bullous pemphigoid.

Mode of Action

How Does It Work?

Linagliptin works by inhibiting the action of an enzyme. These two actions together lower the release of glucose and help in controlling elevated blood glucose levels.
