Defcort Tm Tablet Description

Defcort Tm Tablet is used for the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). In a few older men, the enlargement of the prostate occurs, leading to difficulty in urination. It is a combination

of medicine containing Tamsulosin and Deflazacort. Do not take this medicine if you are having an allergy, liver problem, dizziness on changing position or any infection. Tell your doctor about any other medicine you are taking along with it. Do not stop this medicine without doctors advice.

  • You have ever fainted or felt dizzy when suddenly sitting down or standing up.
  • You are currently undergoing or have been scheduled for eye surgery.
  • The use of Tamsulosin may increase the risk of eye complications during and after the cataract and Glaucoma surgery.
  • Chances of infections increase if you are taking this medicine.
  • If you get chickenpox, measles or shingles infection during this treatment, you can become seriously ill. Your doctor may advise frequent follow-up visits to monitor the condition during treatment.
  • Children or adolescents below 18 years of age should strictly avoid using this medicine.
