Citalin 10mg Tablets
Citalin 10 MG Description
Citalin tablet is a prescription medication commonly used for treating major depressive disorder and panic disorder with or without agoraphobia (fear of open spaces or crowded places). It contains a
single active ingredient: escitalopram. Escitalopram is an antidepressant medicine. It works by increasing a chemical substance in the brain which is responsible for elevating the mood, improving energy and reducing nervousness. Citalin tablets also help stabilise the mood by reducing the excess activity of nerves in the brain. It can also cause a calming mood and sedation effect. The dose of Citalin tablet should be carefully monitored in everyone, especially in older patients and patients with liver and kidney disorders. Even though it does not cause physical dependency, this medicine can cause psychological dependency if taken for a long duration. You should give the doctor all information about your medical history along with all the medications you are taking, as this medicine can interact with many other medicines and have undesirable side effects.
