Armod 50 MG Description

Armod-50 Tablet is a 'wakefulness-promoting medication' used to treat obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), narcolepsy, and shift work sleep disorder (SWD). Obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) is a sleep disorde

r that stops breathing during sleep. Narcolepsy is a sleep disorder that causes extreme daytime weariness. Shift work sleep disorder is caused by irregular work patterns such as graveyard hours, early morning shifts, or rotational shifts. The active ingredient in Armod-50 Tablet is 'Armodafinil,' which belongs to the 'central nervous system (CNS) stimulants class. It works by activating the brain to boost the body's physical and mental activities. The levels of some chemical messengers involved in the sleep mechanism are altered by armodafinil. As a result, it boosts energy and alertness by reducing sleepiness. Armod-50 tablet can induce headaches, dizziness, nausea, sleeping problems (insomnia), dry mouth, and nervousness in certain people. These side effects are not universal and vary from person to person.
