Manetain Clarifying Shampoo is a Curly Girl Method-friendly shampoo for a deep cleanse at the start of a CG routine and for occasional clarifying washes. Fruit-based AHAs may help remove build-up, sebum, dead skin cells, hard water deposits and dirt, while aloe vera may help moisturise hair. The formula is sulphate-free, paraben-free and silicone-free.

• Wet your scalp and hair.
• Take a coin-size amount in your hands.
• Massage into the wet scalp. Section your hair to help cleanse the whole scalp and hair.
• Rinse well from both the scalp and hair.
• Use before starting a Curly Girl Method routine. After that, use at least once a month, or twice a month if needed. People who use heavy styling products, live in humid or polluted areas, or have low-porosity hair may use it up to three times a month.
