Zanocin Eye Drops contains ofloxacin, an antibiotic, which is used treat bacterial infections.
Uses of Zanocin Eye Drops
Zanocin Eye Drops uses include the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis and corneal ulcers.
Contraindications of Zanocin Eye Drops
Ofloxacin-based medicines are to be avoided if the individuals are below 18 years of age, with diabetes and also among pregnant women and women who are breastfeeding infants.
Side effects of Zanocin Eye Drops
- Discomfort or drying sensation in the eyes.
- Blurred vision for sometimes after its administration.

- Zanocin Eye Drops, if administered along with zypine 2.5 mg, manza 15 mg, alkepin 25 mg tablets dt, can result in hypersalivation and dizziness.
- Ofloxacin, the primary constituent of Zanocin Eye Drops, when coupled with epsolin 50 mg injection 2 ml can cause fluctuation in phenytoin levels.
Interactions with food items
There are no accounts where its interactions with food is found to be harmful among individuals.
Other general Interactions
Ofloxacin or ofloxacin-based medication is not safe for individuals under 18 years of age or for nursing women, it is advised to consult a doctor before getting on a prescription of ofloxacin.
